Abstract:
This research project aims to investigate the role of architecture in promoting social inclusivity and community engagement. The study recognizes the significant impact that the built environment has on individuals and communities, and seeks to explore how architectural design can contribute to creating inclusive spaces that foster social interaction, cohesion, and a sense of belonging. By examining case studies and conducting surveys and interviews, this research aims to provide insights into the strategies and design principles that architects can employ to promote social inclusivity and community engagement in their projects. The findings of this study will contribute to the development of guidelines and recommendations for architects and urban planners to create more inclusive and socially vibrant communities.
