Investigating the Role of Epigenetics in Cancer Development and Progression. MSC

Abstract:
This research project aims to investigate the role of epigenetics in cancer development and progression. Epigenetic modifications, such as DNA methylation, histone modifications, and non-coding RNA expression, have been shown to play a crucial role in regulating gene expression and cellular processes. Understanding the epigenetic alterations associated with cancer can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying tumor initiation, progression, and response to therapy. This study will employ a combination of experimental and computational approaches to analyze epigenetic modifications in cancer cells and patient samples. The findings from this research will contribute to our understanding of the molecular basis of cancer and may have implications for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting epigenetic alterations.
